The first one is a collaborative work that we’ve recorded with EUS (Costa Rica) & POSTDROME (UK) from october to december 2011. It was a challenge and a great experience to compose this with José & Charlie, with a lot of funny moments, lost in time & translation. The tracks are at mix with Nico from Eleventy Studio in Costa Rica and will be mastered in France during april. No release date yet.
In the same time, we are hardly working on our second full length, entitled ‘Unhurt / Unseen’. The release will include a poetry book by Leonardo Rosado and be available on Heart & Soul Publishing (CD) & BLWBCK (cassette) before this summer.
To end, the two Pink Sabbath / Raincoats B-side’s, Snowbound / I Miss You, are now available to stream/download via our Bandcamp page. old material 100% webcams recordings. You can still purchase the cassette edition featuring the two EPs + B-sides on Arty Empty

The mysteriously and somewhat ominously named Delayed Summer is the newest offering from Toulouse’s Roman Barbot. His dark and massive, loud post-rock influenced music can be best by the “term” invented by my friend: sunless ambient. A reverbed and distorted wall of sounds, relentlessly pulsing their way into the night; this is no beach party music. Perfect soundtrack for the long, dark winter nights.

Limited tape ed. of 44 copies C30 [26:44] coming in a blue case + 16 pages booklet“Life seems to happen always at present time. We move on across the years challenged by the next day, living by the hour. Sometimes, we go back to places in our memory that resemble past remembrances, important moments or just the illusion of important moments, spotlight in our mind. Youth is one of such spotlights, it is a milestone on our development as individuals, accumulating experiences, failures and successes.
Looking back at these memories we add phantasy to such moments. Sometimes because they are blurred in our memory and we don’t know exactly how they occurred. Other times we don’t need them to be truthful but more like a mirror to our needs. Delayed Summer is like one of these novels written on the subject of youth past memories.
Coming back to the house where he grew up Romain Barbot felt the urgency of recreating is memories, smells, images, souvenirs of a long gone period. Delayed Summer is born from this impulse, and much like an urge it was automatically pursued in the shape of jam sessions with a couple of friends and minimal resources.
Delayed Summer is trespassed with an energy filtered by years that passed by. Among the instruments, the guitar can be heard more loudly, reflecting the electricity that is youth. Using a couple of webcam microphones to capture this instants a lo-fi characteristic is achieved, that suggests the blurring of memories that exist in Romain Barbot’s mind.”- Leonardo Rosado

Now we have the time to focus on new material. The first track with the new line-up will be released during the incoming weeks. It’s called ‘Forget Our Debts’ and it’s the first song that we’ve written together. It’s a very dark piece, 5 heavy minutes where distorted field recordings and drones are trying to swallow a pack of crying guitars.
We’ve also started to write music with other talented artists for a collaborative album. It’s too soon to give you more details but we’re more than excited by the first pieces of work.
To end, we are available to play everywhere, if you’re interested don’t hesitate to contact us
